Her
negative cognitions for both memories were reminiscent of issues to which she
had alluded in earlier sessions: "I'll never be able to trust individuals
again," "I'm not right. There's something wrong with me,"
"I'll never satisfy a man." were: "I've come so far and built so
much up that he destroyed," and "I have the capability to
please." She rated the believability of the beneficial cognition at a 4
(1-7) and her SUDS was a 9 (10 being the highest). She experienced the disturbance
all Shadowhawk X800 over her personal body. Interestingly, in these 2 classes using EMDR within
hypnotic trance, she experienced comforted by the diagonal saccades and
responded very easily to them, shifting the SUDS from a 9 to a 7 to a 5 to
finally a 1. When we installed the beneficial cognitions, she experienced the
statements still "fit" and rated them on a scale of 1 to 7 (7 being
absolutely accurate, 1 absolutely false) at a "6+". Outcome of Case
Using Holistic Pyschotherapy In reviewing my own notes, it is still quite
startling to see the almost utter absence of tic behavior subsequent to the
combined hypnosis/EMDR classes. Subsequent classes targeted more on issues of
management, anger management, negotiating long-term intimate relationships, and
perform.
She has since become successful operating, has married, and has in
every way demonstrated a full recovery. In the 10 decades since the combined
hypnosis/EMDR intervention, she has had almost no tic activity despite the
stress of career changes, marriage, and shifting (twice). Her progress
continues and she comes in for a session once in a while to brainstorm on one
issue or another. She always closes the entrance behind her.
Observations/Discusson When hypnotism is used for ego strengthening and EMDR
for both continued ego strengthening and uncoupling, they can provide
clinicians a formidable toolbox for both generating and therapeutically using
those "unexpected responses." It occurred to me in preparing it that
JJ had created her subtle request for EMDR in the initial stages of her therapy
if only I had been listening more attentively. Her unconscious references to
"tracks," "channels," "blocking," were all
terminology used to describe and metaphorically explain the EMDR procedure by
Shapiro herself (1995). Also useful, and perhaps worthy of further study, is
how only in the EMDR classes were the incidents involving beginning childhood
sexual abuse and her later humiliation by her ex-boyfriend disclosed. This
author wonders whether the more structured procedure of EMDR was what allowed
for this revelation.
While I had naturally assumed that the right-sided tic was
the purpose of the physical stress, it seemed to have been interlocked with
more complex psychological and sexual stress. While hypnotism and NLP perhaps
laid the foundation, JJ's symptoms only subsided after EMDR exposed, then
released the deeper layers of stress she had buried for such a lengthy time.
Clearly, there was "a scream waiting to happen," only not the scream
I had assumed. To this writer, JJ's scenario reaffirms the value of therapeutic
flexibility and an eclectic or holistic stance when dealing with the
mystery-and poetry-of the mind/body connection. One evening, while being a
patrol officer, Brian Quittner was writing a ticket. He was trying to keep his
flash light under one arm so he could see what he was writing and then the
flash light slipped, fell and broke, leaving him in an awkward scenario. He
said the classic phrase of the inventor, "There has got to be a better
way," and the next day created his hands-free mobile mild. Quittner's
program can be worn around the neck and uses LED mild, which does not interrupt
evening vision, meaning your sight don't need to readjust, helping authorities
stay alert and perceptive in just crazy circumstances.
He has been selling his
Quiqlite since 2000 to cops and protection officers worldwide. When Brian and
Rachel Quittner had their third child, Rachel wanted an easy way to check on
her children without turning on the lighting and potentially waking them up.
She grabbed her husband's Quiqlite and soon realized this was the best product
for moms. Soon the Quittners were redesigning and repackaging the product for
moms. The Babeebrite even includes a built in timer so moms won't waste battery
power power if they fall asleep. The Quittners also realized that the product
would be perfect for health care providers also not wanting to wake up patients
- the Night Nurse - and for travelers wanting to read but not wanting to wake
up the travelers sitting next to them - the Bookbrite. So far they have been
successful in selling all four variations of the same product to different
markets. When you can discover another use for your innovation, you in essence
create a whole awesome product for a new target audience, but at once, you have
already done much of the work for service and probably your patent or other
intellectual property protection will still secure you. Additionally catalogs
and retailers will be more likely to pick up products that has been successful,
even if for a different industry.
If you can discover new markets for your
product or service as is, or modified, you will income on your innovation two,
three or four periods over. Actually your product or service may sell better
for a use you never envisaged when you invented it. Think about different
methods to use your innovation, provide it with to family and friends and see
if anyone can come up with another outstanding use for your product or service.
Your real success may lie in a absolutely new industry. Lifestyle since 9-11
has never been the same for many individuals. Some citizens have flatly refused
to board an aircraft after that frightful day in September while others live in
constant fear when they keep their houses. These are unnatural feelings and
should not be controlling factors in one's life. The activities which happened
in New York City could take position at just about any location around the
globe.
Although we may not be capable of prophesying where the terrorists may
strike we can presume the necessary measures to safeguard ourselves and our
loved ones. If your job or avocation is of the characteristics where you must
travels extensively around the globe or just within the American continent you
can do perform certain actions which would be significantly useful to your
safety. I receive daily emails from the condition division outlining which
countries around the globe are currently posing threats to American travelers.
These travel alerts warn the casual visitors to foreign countries of
prospective terrorist attacks. These are not merely educated guesses put out as
eye candy by the government but the combined efforts of both law administration
agencies and Intelligence networks in the United States and within European
countries. The most important issues presented consist of potentially targeted
airports or hotels where there is a wonderful venture of terrorist activity.
Everyone from the students who may be outdoor camping their way across European
countries to the company leaders attending conferences in foreign nationsshould take the necessary steps to make sure that the hazards associated with
their travel is minor. All safety should naturally can start airport which is
regarded the biggest location of all. Frequently airport attacks occur in locations
which are unsecured and out of the immediate variety of protection
surveillance. For your included safety it is recommended that you easily arrive
at the airport, check yourself and your baggage in, and then pass straight
through and into the secured place. The unsecured locations of several airports
are usually mentioned as the prospective targets in most terror alerts. You
should secure your luggage with some sort of ties strap. http://www.optimalnutritions.com/shadowhawk-x800
